You're very confused and frustrated

Dear sad child, my name is Sidney the tea kettle. Your teachers have been telling me you're very confused and frustrated with how heat transfer works. Well believe it or not, I have heat transfer happen all the time. Heat transfers by convection into me all the time. Only when I am being used of course. A process continues until all the water in me is the same temperature. There are water molecules at the bottom of me, and they build up heat energy. They vibrate, causing the water molecules to move farther apart. Density is also a part of this process. The water molecules density decreases. Then, the molecules that are the hottest, rise to the top of the tea kettle. I hope this cleared up a few things. Good luck!
