I'm a nucleus. It's a hard job to be a nucleus because you hold all the DNA. I can't imagine what would happen to the cells if I left. I basically hold our cell together. I'm a round organelle in the center of the cell. The thing is you always have a friend connected to me. My friend is endoplasmic reticulum. So my job is basically all day everyday. My friend endoplasmic reticulum helps remove harmful substances. I am the most important organelle in the cell. I'm the best organelle there is. I was even the first organelle discovered in a cell. The cell membrane protects me and the other organelles. So thanks cell membrane. I have to protect the nucleolus he is in the middle of me. He is like my little brother. So being a nucleus is a tuff job as you can see.
