Hello, my name is Lysosome 643. Today I will tell you about a day in my life, starting with the fact that I don't sleep. I live in Animal Cell 475. When I wake up I tell my children, my enzymes, to wake up. I have alot of them but I will tell you the names of three of them. Glycosidases, Proteases, and Sulfatases. You are probaly wondering what an enzymes is. It is a substance I produce, that acts as a catylist to bring a specific biochemical reaction.
My job is to digest waste such as worn out organelles, food particles, and bacteris. I do this every single day and without me nothing could live. Nothing. That's right I am in you, and your cat, dog, fish, or friend.
