Cell Wall

I'm a cell wall. My job is by far the most important! Well... maybe not because the nucleus is super important too. Show off. I support the whole cell all day long. I control the cell's growth. Without me, the cell would over expand! Yikes! I can never leave my post. I have to withstand turgor pressure. Can you do that nucleus? As usual the other organelles thank me. They are extremely grateful. I'm always proud to protect my friends even the nucleus. The daily proteins come over to hang out. I let them pass through with ease. I don't let anything else through my strict security! My cell can communicate through me to the other cells. They share information I like to hear. Before I can end my day, I check the carbohydrates I keep stored. I go to sleep but, even when I'm asleep I protect the cell. I always protect my homies!
